Elizabeth is a native Texan, who was born and raised in the Houston area of Deer Park. Elizabeth began her dancing career at Royal Academy of Fine Arts, where she was a member of their dance company.
Elizabeth moved to Tyler, Texas where she attended high school at Chapel Hill High School and was a member of the Chapel Hill Highlighters. Mrs. Davis was a Junior Lieutenant and served as Captain her senior year. While a Highlighter, Mrs. Davis won numerous overall awards, National Championships, and solo awards.
Upon graduation, Elizabeth tried out for and became a member of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes where she was a member of the 61 st Line. During her time as a Rangerette, Elizabeth performed with Jessica Simpson at the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day halftime show, and for President George W. Bush at the 2001 Black Tie & Boots Ball in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Davis also had the privilege of walking in the Inaugural Parade for President Bush that same year.
After Kilgore, Mrs. Davis transferred to the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a member of the UT Pom Squad and a semi-professional dancer for the Austin Wranglers Arena Football team.
After graduation, Elizabeth moved to the Dallas area where she began her teaching career at Sheena’s Dance Academy in Frisco and KC’s Dance & Cheer in Sachse while working in technology and telecom sales. Beginning in 2012, Mrs. Davis began teaching at Edge Dance, having taught many competition teams. In 2015, Mrs. Davis traded in her studio teacher hat, to begin teaching at Wakeland High School where she was the Assistant Director of the Legacy Line.
Following her time in Frisco, Mrs. Davis began teaching in Plano ISD, at Jasper High School. This year begins Mrs. Davis’ eighth year as the Director of the Jasper Jazz and she is so incredibly blessed to work with this group of talented and hard-working young ladies. Mrs. Davis is excited to be back at Edge Dance, working with the amazing students in Plano and surrounding areas!
