Hip Hop, Jazz, Musical Theater
Dallas native DeLeah Caro has been dancing since the age of 6, training in tap, jazz, hip hop and Drill Team. She was one of the first Junior Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and danced in their Show Group. She served as Lieutenant on her High School drill team, and then went on to be Freshman Lieutenant and Sophomore Captain of her Junior college dance team at McLennan Community College. She competed in two NCA Collegiate Nationals. DeLeah was a Dallas Mavericks Dancer for six years. During that time, she made appearances on Fox 4 Good Day Dallas, Fox Sports Net Southwest Report, Channel 8 News, Neiman Marcus Cattlebaron's Ball, The Dallas Stars, Tony and Guy, Sport Illustrated, NBA All Star 2010 and various parades and local radio stations. Her choreography has been showcased at several Metroplex area high schools and colleges, as well as Dallas native R&B singer Link.

Laurel was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where she was trained as a dancer before finding a passion for theatre. Since graduating from Baylor University in August 2015, she has been directing youth theatre and instructing various styles of dance with Edge Dance and Performing Arts Center. She has a BFA in theatre performance, and performed with the Baylor Dance Company. Laurel also has experience working with youth in both Waco & Midloathian. Her main focuses are musical theatre choreography, postmodern collaborations, and shakespearean theatre. However, her heart has always been in working with youth in the arts, and she is very excited to continue pursuing children's theatre in North Dallas!

Musical Theater Director, Vocal Coach
Peg has been a Vocal Coach, Musical Theatre Director , Theatre Director, Accompanist and Choreographer since 1985. She has a Masters Degree in Music and a certificate to teach Theatre with specialties in Musical Theatre and has taught for over 25 years. Her students are currently featured in roles on Broadway, National Tours, Off Broadway, TV series, Cruise Lines, Theme Parks, and local artists in the Dallas area. Peg has personally performed professionally through out the Midwest and Dallas area and continues to pursue her craft. She has worked with numerous students who were accepted to participate in the prestigious programs all over the world, as well as received significant scholarships to pursue their passion in college. Peg currently is a vocal coach, freelance director, choreographer in the Dallas area.

Jazlyn Whitlowe

Intermediate Ballet, Advanced Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Pointe
Melissa is from Vestal, New York, where she has been dancing since age 4. At 14, she began training with Rafael Grigorian at the Rafael Grigorian School of Classical Ballet. In 2014, Melissa graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Ballet. While at IU, Melissa had the opportunity to train under Michael Vernon and Violette Verdy, and danced soloist and principal roles in works by Marius Petipa, Michael Vernon, Peter Martins, Martha Graham, Augustus Bournonville, Nicolo Fonte, and George Balanchine. After graduation, Melissa danced with the Colorado Ballet Studio Company for two seasons, under the direction of Gil Boggs. She has performed with the main company in works by Christopher Wheeldon, Martin Fredmann, Augustus Bournonville, and Septime Webre. This is Melissa's first year with Avant Chamber Ballet in Dallas, TX

Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Drill Prep
Miss Jazlyn Whitlowe has studied dance since the age of three. She was a competitive dancer for several years and has trained in all levels and many styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and more. Adrienne Dellas Thornton, Keith Clark, Dr. Linda Quinn, & LeeWei Chao are just a few of the master instructors she has studied under. In 2009 Jazlyn had the privilege of being cast as a dancer in the film “The Beacon” featuring Teri Polo. She has been a member of Movers Unlimited Touring Dance Company under the direction of Dr. Kihyoung Choi and is currently attending college pursuing degrees in Interior Design and Dance. She has taught dance at Dana’s Studio of Dance, Apex Academy; Come Read With Me. Jazlyn has a passion for working with the special needs community and is thrilled to teach her students all that she has learned thru dance.

Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Leaps & Turns
Jeremy hails from a very small town in west Texas, Knox City. If you blink while driving through you will probably miss it. He started dancing/teaching 7 years ago at Dance Etc in Wichita Falls, TX under director Reggie Milam while pursuing his BA in Communications. After years of
training at Dance Etc, he auditioned and received 1 of 20 training scholarships at EDGE Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, CA. Studying and training under top choreographers, directors, and dancers in the entertainment industry. Jeremy has performed in countless industrials for Nike and Adidas. Been featured dancer in music and concept videos, the Nutcracker Ballet, regional Broadway shows and countless live erformances. Now back in
Texas, he is in his rookie year with the first and only coed hip hop dance team in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue.

Tap, Jazz, Leaps & Turns
Penny has been dancing in the DFW area since the age of 3 and competing locally since the age of 8. She is trained in tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, musical theater, hip hop, contemporary, and modern. Penny has performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, been a dancer in
Gregg Russell's tap DVD "Tap Into the Network," and performed with Katelyn Harris and Rhythmic Souls. She has spent summers training at Edge Performing Arts Center in LA, Steps on Broadway in NYC, and attending various tap festivals such as Soul to Sole and Third Coast Rhythm Project. She is a graduate from Southern Methodist University with her B.A. in Communication and Art Entrepreneurship and is currently in her second year at SMU Dedman School of Law. Penny has been teaching in the Dallas area since she was 17, she is known for her upbeat energy and her contagious love for tap!
